UKRI | Celebrating 15 years of India’s collaboration with UKRI

Both India and the UK recognize that research and innovation play a crucial role in addressing some of the most significant global challenges. Over the past 15 years, they have actively contributed to simplifying the process of forming partnerships and establishing meaningful collaborations. The initiative "Transforming Tomorrow Together" showcases the remarkable outcomes of their collaborative funding efforts, particularly in fields encompassing health and wellness, climate and ecology, culture and heritage, and technology and expertise. From its inception in 2008, UKRI India has played a proactive role in enabling close to £400 million of funding commitment for research and innovation between the UK and India, leading to the emergence of over 200 knowledge-driven and technological breakthroughs.
