Meet our team of talented, diverse interns
I'm currently pursuing a degree in bioinformatics and am interested in computational languages as well as drug design and discovery. If I were to discuss my interest in climate change, I would really like to work on the oceans and the cryosphere.
I am an undergraduate student persuing a degree in life sciences. My subjects of study include chemistry, botany, zoology and environmental studies. Aside from my academic pursuits, I have actively engaged in various practical experiences to complement my theoretical knowledge. I have participated in field trips, laboratory experiments and add on courses which have honed my skills in data collection, analysis and scientific communication.
I am currently pursuing B.tech with specialization in computer science and engineering from Delhi Technological University. My key interests in this field are Deep Learning/Machine Learning, Data Analyst, Data Structures and Algorithms mainly in C++. I have other interest in Embedded systems too. I have worked on Microcontrollers like Arduino and created various mini projects using it
I study a combination of Chemistry, Botany, Zoology and Education. I'm a beginner at programming and know basics of Python, xml, SQL, Version Control (Git) and Markdown. Apart from that, I'm also interested in science communication and outreach, and management.
I am a passionate and purposeful student keenly interested in Computational Biology, drug discovery, NGS analysis and Comparative Genomics along with the application related to Machine learning and Statistical Data analysis
Gita is a scientist at NIPGR, New Delhi as well as a Professor of Data Science at IISER Bhopal. She is also a Trustee at St Edmunds' College, University of Cambridge. Her work is on genomics and structural informatics with applications in Climate, Conservation and Food Security.
Peter is a chemist currently working at the University of Cambridge. As well as his work, in chemistry, Murray-Rust is also known for his support of open access and open data. Peter is a pioneer in text mining through The Content Mine, an advocacy and implementation project consisting of a community, framework and toolset which facilitate the freeing of scientific data and building of further tools for improved open Science, Technology and Medicine communication.
The Joint Lab provides a framework for intensifying cooperation in research, development and teaching on "Future Libraries & Research Data" with Hannover University of Applied Sciences and Arts (HsH) and TIB - Leibniz Information Centre for Science and Technology.
